Snow

In Poems on February 5, 2010 at 5:13 am

Pristine and pure
White blinding deep
Mother made you cold
Yet you look like donuts sprinkled sweet
Fill children with delight
Snowman snowangels snowballs
Play they do with you in hand
Happy they are to hit their friend
Simple you look clear and calm
Awed are people of your strength
Mighty you are though fluffy you feel
Respect they do as you are so cool
Light you fall on shoulders and head
Though flowers bloom once you are gone
It is your might that gives them the warmth
Colors are dull without your bright
Look forward to you every autumn night
