Research states that “Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR)” helps in managing stress (http://researchstories.asu.edu/2009/03/trickledown_health.html). So, if one becomes mindful along with meditation and breathing, stress could be better managed.
A simple factor like attention seems to reduce our stress. Our senses are constantly bombarded with external noise. A battle is constantly waged to choose the right “noise” to connect to oneself. A glimpse of this noise is seen in the silence within. This “golden noise” is what the divine makes. Close attention to it could reduce stress of all sorts and bring us closer to our actual journey in this world.
Attention within, can produce more joy and help us come together. Maybe this is what Jung meant when he spoke about our collective consciousness–consciously attend the internal silence and grow collectively..:)
